In my searches over the last 18 years, I have discovered a huge difference among products labelled or called organic. In creating my line of organic textiles in 1993, I used the parameters of no chemical outgassing at all. This is still my vision of what I want for my kids. So our line of organics is as pure as can be. My hope is that consumers will ask questions when they look for organics, that they will ask for proof of purity, not just the "organic" label.
SECRET: Organic in food and textiles means 95% of the ingredients are organic, 5% may be chemical or synthetic. I am hoping that by way of blogs, people will inform other people about what they find. We make organic textiles at purerest.com and ecobaby.com, however, I am still looking for any info on organic foods. Does anyone know where I can find foods that are really 100% organic, no chemical at all?
